Key Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

• Accurately inputs transportation data into excel spreadsheets daily
• Answers phone’s and directs to appropriate parties, also keeps call out log up to date and accurate when team members call
• Greets customers, store pick-ups and vendors
• Track missing parts for stores
• Update prices for carriers, as needed
• Prepare paperwork for shipments
• Assist with keeping accurate records of trucking invoices
• Set up returns from stores for overstock and keep track of the cost
• Set up employee purchases
• Check paperwork from orders for inconsistencies
• Assist keeping track of daily metrics in Shipping
• Works with carriers for rate quotes for large volume shipments
• Ensure store shipping requirement files are up to date (Lift gate, store addresses, etc.)
• Keeps track of the pick-ups made daily
• Assists with keeping track of New Store trailers and pick-up dates and freight charges

Knowledge and Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of JDE, open order status reports, bill of ladings, packing slips, and RF Smart a plus

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform measurement and workmanship inspections to verify that materials, trims, accessories, and product construction comply with technical pack specifications

• Conduct packaging integrity and compliance inspections

• Accurately document findings and data collected during quality control activities in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Communicate significant quality issues or compliance concerns to supervisors and appropriate merchant teams

• Maintain and update QA inspection logs and tracking systems

• Organize and maintain quality control records, documentation, and filing systems

• Assist in tracking and reporting non-compliant products and supplier performance

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to learn, understand, and retain company procedures and documentation standards

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift cartons of merchandise and stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a Distribution Center environment

• Proficient in basic computer systems and data entry

Run rivet machines, hydraulic presses, blade gaper, and various hand tools.

Sign on and off jobs.

Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

$15 per hour – overtime available
